MILTON END BARN Photographer - Rebecca & Stefan

As a busy Gloucestershire wedding photographer, I’m lucky enough to frequently capture wedding photography at Milton End Farm. Rebecca and Stefan chose the perfect venue for their late summer wedding.

Milton End Farm is a gorgeous exclusive use barn wedding venue, situated on a working dairy farm in the stunning Gloucestershire countryside. This charming rustic barn wedding venue offers exclusive use and on-site accommodation so you have everything you need in one place.

On arrival you are greeted by the ducks, alpacas, pigs, sheep, goats and the resident donkey Dominic. Which is something that absolutely thrills me every time I return to be a Milton End Farm wedding photographer.

On the day, I got to Milton End Farm early to catch up with Rebecca and her bridal party who were getting ready on site in the barn’s beautiful accommodation. Rebecca looked absolutely stunning in a beautiful dress with a stunning low back, a fitted body with a gentle kick out into a train at the back giving her the most stunning silhouette in all of my images of her. Her long blonde hair was elegantly pinned up into a cascading pony tail down her back. She looked so stunning like she’d just stepped out of the pages of a bridal magazine and she beamed all day. Us Gloucestershire wedding photographers do love a smiley bride!

Stefan and his grooms party also got ready at Milton End and I captured some images of them getting ready as well as a sweet moment when he opened a gift of a watch from Rebecca. Stefan and his grooms party looked very smart in blue three-piece suits with light blue ties. Bridesmaids wore gorgeous blue dresses, in fact the entire wedding party looked amazing.

Experienced Milton End Barn Photographer

The wedding ceremony was held in the rustic barn that has warm exposed brick walls, original oak beams with twinkly lights and wagon wheel chandeliers adorned with pretty flowers. It looked so rustic and charming. Rebecca was walked down the aisle by her lovely nan.

The ceremony was really personal and emotional and I captured some really special images. One of my favourite images of the day was of Rebecca and Stefan’s first kiss at the end of ceremony.

After the ceremony, there was a fun confetti moment in the courtyard outside before everybody enjoyed an outdoor drinks reception. It was a really sunny day, so it was a great chance to capture some candid images of Rebecca and Stefan’s guests enjoying one another’s company, soaking up the sunshine and really taking in their beautiful surroundings.

The wedding breakfast took place back in the barn which had been dressed beautifully with simple rustic wood tables adorned with floral arrangements and simple candles. It looked amazing. Speeches took place before the meal (which his always a good idea) and went down really well with everybody. Rebecca, Stefan and their guests all then enjoyed a sumptuous wedding breakfast.

After which there was a chance for a few group images of the wedding party outside. The bridesmaids and grooms party had started the party early so a few shots might have been drunk before they had their group photos. And it wasn’t long before things got silly and I got some really hilarious images. These guys were so much fun!

Storytelling Gloucestershire wedding photography

With guests happily mingling and enjoying exclusive use of the farm, I quickly whisked Rebecca and Stefan away for a few minutes for a romantic photoshoot of them around the farm. Light wise it was the golden hour, when the sun is at its lowest and haziest, creating the most exquisite low light that is so romantic. The images I got were just amazing.

Evening celebrations started with the cutting of the most delicious looking three-tiered wedding cake, followed by a romantic first dance that quickly turned a bit raucous because Rebecca and Stefan’s guests couldn’t wait to join them on the dancefloor.

And being the brave and committed Gloucestershire wedding photographer that I am, I took my life into my own hands and took to the dancefloor to get some really fun images. It was worth it as Rebecca dancing with her friends kicking her leg in the air was one of my favourite images of the day.

I loved capturing Rebecca and Stefan’s fun wedding at Milton End Farm. A gorgeous wedding at a gorgeous venue for a gorgeous couple. Congratulations guys and thanks for having me there!
